About the Society

The Nigerian Academy of Medicine is a non-governmental organization registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria on 17th May 2019 with registration number RC 1586058. The academy aims to serve as an independent, dynamic and innovative national resource of excellence and expertise in medical sciences and healthcare.

The registered office is at the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria Complex, Plot 1102, Cadastral Zone B11, Off Oladipo Diya Road, Behind Prince and Princess Estate, Kaura District, Abuja, FCT, Nigeria.

About the Journal

The Journal of the Nigerian Academy of Medicine is a biannual peer – reviewed international journal published by the Nigerian Academy of Medicine. The journal allows free access (open Access) to its content and permits authors to self archive final accepted version of the articles on any OAI - compliant institutional/subject based repository.

The journal will cover clinical, pre-clinical and translational studies related to medical and dental specialties. In addition the journal will publish articles impacting on human health and well being as well as social and ethical issues.
